So I'm trying to sell my Mossberg 500 ASAP. I've had it about 2 years and shot it once, I just never have the time or money to use it. It's been sitting in my closet for awhile so its kinda dusty but if you need additional pics or info ley me know.

Thanks!

Hey Icik, Rushn. What are the laws on person-to-person sales in Az. Does one need to go through an FFL or...?

Even though I am not from Arizona but from hearing from its lax gun law reputation as long as it is a Title 1 firearm (semi-auto rifle, bolt-action rifle, shotgun, handgun) an FFL is not required for FTF transfers. Even Maryland allows these type of transfers except for handguns and regulated firearms ("assault weapons":angryfire:).

robert

Stephen,
I just called my local deal. They want me to pay $50 for the transfer.

How ironic is this. By obeying the law, I have to pay additional money just to have it sent to THEM, and then I pay them to "accept" it.

I don't know if I can afford that right now. I'm sure someone will take it off your hands immediately in AZ.

BTW for anyone intrested the exact model is a Mossberg 500A, 12 gauge that holds 5 rounds. The light is an Insight Technologies M3X Tatical Illuminator attached on a custom Sidearmor rail. The strap is a strap, nothing special and the stock of the gun holds 2 spare rounds on each side. Let me know if you have any further questions.

mines a 500A, and it said 6+1 for ammo capacity unless you're using 3-in. shells, just sayin so it may prove more attractive to takers...:fing11:

Thanks. I already own two 500s one with wood furniture(long barrel, removable choke) and one with synth furniture(short barrel). I have never seen a buttstock that carries spare rounds, up close, I am interested in seeing how it works.

Inner tube with spring-actuated plunger. A gimmick IMO. A 7 or 8 round magazine tube is 100x more functional for what's intended.

However, it's a very nice shotgun and opinions notwithstanding, you'll obviously be happy with it.

Yeah, I never went for the Speedfeed stocks. But it is a handy feature from what i've heard, albeit a bit of a gimmick.
