I vote for the P99. Its an extremely comfortable gun, and fun to shoot (even the DAO P990).

<-----Voted for the P99. When I got my 1st hand gun it was between the HK USP Compact and the Walther P99. I regret not getting the P99 because I shoot much better with 9mm. My next gun will deff be the P99. :ihih:

I voted Glock. If you are going 9mm then go with the Glock model 19.

However I might recommend The G21 or G30. .45 is so much better. :D

I chose 9mm for the price; I am usually at the range hen I shoot, and am also a poor college student :biggrin5:

Glocks are used all over the world and the main choice of weapon for LEO's in the U.S. I would definitely go with the Glock.

I gave my friend's dad the choices, and he suggested the XD9. THen went on for 5 minutes about how it got "gun of the year". Obviously he's an XD guy. :biggrin5:

My little sister likes the P99 because it "looks coolest". She's 7 years old.

If I start working 3rd shifts more often, the PPK pr PPS will start looking more useful in my eye as well.

Keep us posted. I got a purchase to make early August and my sights are set pretty firm on a full-sized USP! I debated putting up a poll but the only thing that will keep me from getting the USP is if the bonus sucks this quarter... then I'll be switching to 1911! ..unless it reaaaally sucks... then maybe something used from CDNN... may have to poll that. hehe
