I personally think this is going to be a disaster, at least when you get your permit you have to go through 8 hours of training. Now there's going to be even more uneducated owners out there. Not to mention I put in my time and did the training, everyone else should.

I think it'll cut some of the crime in Phoenix. It's bad there, and having a pistol without the red tape and bull**** will give more people the option of carrying.

I disagree and I strongly believe we need the red tape after taking my class a few years ago. 90% of the people in the class with me had never shot a gun and had no clue as to the basic gun safety rules. Our teacher nearly got shot by some chick at the range.

I'm all about freedom blah blah blah but it's a deadly weapon and you need to have some training on how to use it, just like when you get a drivers license.

It won't last long if what you are telling me is correct. Someone will accidentally shoot their kid, and that'll be the end of that.

It seems to have worked just fine in Vermont for years.

That's what I was thinking.
An Armed Society is a Polite Society.

Vermont is much more rual than Arizona with a population of around 630,000 compared to our 6,600,000 give or take.

So you're basically saying that VT is a better state...

Possibly, I've never been there. It may be a nice and safe state where you know all your neighbors but personally I like a big city.

+1

more guns, less crime

unless the guns are in the hands of the Border-Jumpers

Phoenix might get more interesting now
