Couple months ago I bought a S&W lower but I decided to sell it. Today I went to the Gun Connection in White Marsh, MD, and purchased a STAG Ar-15, already built!

It's a Stag 2T, 16", 1:9 twist, railed handguard, tactical stock + flash hider. Pics after I receive it!

niiiiice , ive had a bit of the AR fever lately , found a flattop stag upper for 500 at the gun show today , but didn't have enough cash on me. that and i didn't see the point in buying an upper when i didn't have a lower or the money for a lower
oh well though.
did buy some .45 acp , and almost dropped 135.00 on a box of 500 7.62x39 rounds but decided that id rather save the money to buy a rifle another day.

when do you get to pic up your rifle ?

Save for an AR, bro!

In MD we have to wait 7 days for regulated firearms (hand guns and "assault weapons").

I am saving up for an AR-10.
I still wouldnt mind a 15 though.

I may end up buying another win 70 in .308, or a remmy 7400 in .308--- 5 round mag bolt action, cant beat it.

That along with an AR 15 would be a good combo.

Saving up for a glock for when i'm 21, but my county is *** backwards... I have to buy it, submit the receipt and wait for it to get approved before i can go back to the dealer and actually get the handgun

I love my ARs, my 'A1 Improved' is built on a STAG lower

Currently Im looking at getting a Mossberg 590A1, or a Remington 870

Pics of the A1-

NC, I probably said this before, but you and I have similar taste. I love the 590A1. The one 12 gauge everyone should own!

Here, I give them the money, and they do all the paperwork. They call me in 7 days and tell me I can pick it up.

Full size, compact or subcompact? And what caliber?

compact 9mm
Cheapest easiest thing to get hold of and buy ammo for.

I do like the HK usp tac compact, but it is so expensive

If I get a job as a Forest Ranger up here i would have carried a Glock, but b/c one of one ECO getting mauled and eaten by a black bear DEC is going to be carrying .44 Magnum.

I certainly dont mind this b/c it would take about 12 mags from a gloack 9mm to take down a full grizzly, and a .44 wil drop em in one to three rounds well placed.

anyway, for everyday carry for the first pistol i was thinking of getting a Glock Model 23 or a Springfield XD.

idk, i just cant see myself dropping an extra 600 on a pistol with the same capability just b/c i like the manufacturer. HK did it in for themselves with me with their AR 15 series. I would love one but i just think that they have their heads so far up their asses that theyre reacting about as effectively to the market as Hitler did to 2 front warfare.

I have put a lot of money into the stock market in the past few months b/c I know that it will eventually go up and I will gain a lot of money.

i saw an ad for Yugo x39 for $10 a box!!! The 15 round boxes, too.

what crap.

@ Strikey... don't buy a 9mm dude... get a .45 or something. And don't get a Glock. Jeez, man.

My first handgun will probably be a Ruger Blackhawk in .357 mag, because cowboys rule.

Might get a Ruger 77 ultralite in .308 :perve:

I am NOT a cowboy!

Neither are you, but suit yourself.

9mm is the easiest ammo to find. It does the trick, it's light, and you can find it anywhere.
THat's why I choose 9mm.

If I ever get that HK it'll be .45, b/c if youre gonna spend 1200 on a compact handgun it better pack some punch

To each his own, but I personally can't find one fault with my Glock. Easy to clean, strip down, and so damn simple.

well, you're right on one count, you aren't a cowboy.

@ Rob: yeah, Glocks are fun. I've just never seen them as all that serious, thats all. I don't really like the heft of them. The single-action long-barreled revolver just balances better to me, six shots and you make them count. Very ergonomic IMO (though i guess lots of people dislike the old west grips?)

you are correct though, to each his own. But Strikey for $500+ you can find a nice used 1911 instead of getting a new Glock. Anywhere you can get 9mm .45 acp will be around, too. And i've seen lots of Ruger .357 and .44 mag sixguns for around $400 in the Want Ads. Just a thought.

My first shotgun was a Mossberg, I bought a Mossberg when i turned 18 but its just the evilized 500 w/ a 8 shot tube

I had a 590 I got used but it was problematic so I sold it as a gunsmith special

Im currently looking at a Mossberg 590A1 w/ ghosts and a 18.5" barrel and 6 shot tube, it may become an SBS later though!

6 shot? Pretty sure the 590A1 is 8+1.

yeah im thinking ill just save up an extra grand and buy one of the lwrc ar-15's they had one at the gun show yesterday for 1900. its a bit steep , but id so much rather have a piston driven AR than a standard one. pluss that was a damned nice rifle.

and damn dude , waiting sucks. you should move to a less fascist state.

You guys know that Glock is the best, just too afraid to admin it:fing03:

Yeah, the 7 day thing is a pain, but I love this state none the less. Plus, the wait just makes it all better:wavey[1]:

The 20" barreled one is, this one has a shorter 18" barrel

Im going to add a 1 shot extension to it if I can find one to give it a nice 7

No. it is not.
b/c of all the damn liberals in NYC, guns are cracked down on hard, at least around my part of the state. farther north there isnt as much a problem, but still.
People just dont seem to realize that an armed society is a polite society,
How often do you hear about major crimes coming from texas?

If everyone in NYC carried, the streets would be clean in a week.

One of my bosses is a registered socialist and he hides behind the militia barrier.
Says that once guns are illegal, America will be saved.... right.

I argue to the death every payday, but he's a grumpy old man who was too pig headed to ever find a woman to marry, so he adopted and equally pig headed son.

I do find it funny that he wonders why he goes through so many employees though.

he likes to throw around the terms "minute man" and "pinko commie"....
I am still not sure if he is trying to argue with me, or talk about his sex life.
