I finally have decided on a rifle in 5.56 NATO. Now just got to wait for my birthday.

ive wanted one of those for a long time but the 1700 -2600 dollar price tags have kept me far from getting one.

same here but hopefully ill have it for my b-day cause thats all i really want. of course ill be putting on the SIG-551 handguards on mine after i buy the classic version. the first version looked butt-ugly to me but now with this new "classic" version coming out I am now into it. That and I am not into AR's at all. Ideally I wanted a FNC but a $3500 price tag in this economy is virtually a no-go

The sig is a 5.56 NATO that is based of the AK design but with better sights. I would get one but Sig is too proud of them. I will keep my DPMS.

my friend james just got him self a brand new PTR91 kfm4 and after we slapped a recoil buffer into it was a damned nice weapon granted thats a .308 not a 5.56 but parts are cheap. minus the original stanag scope mounts.
the shop near my house had a daewoo ar-100 on monday it felt pretty cool in my hands , and i liked that it was basically the ar-180 but im not so sure id trust a korean made gun.

Yea I was thinking about that one too. At least in my state it would not be regulated so I wouldn't have to register it and have to use the 7 day waiting period plus I like the multi-caliber capability but it lacks the ability to mount a bayonet which is extremely important to me. That and I have not seen much of them around lately. I would consider getting one if 6.5 Grendel/6.8 SPC became more popular and affordable to shoot.
oh yeah bro :sterb003:
Cheers to that :1062:. One of the most underrated rifles ever invented which is sad cause it is a great rifle.

Not saying I will get it 100% but it would be nice. It would be my dad getting me that !

That is going to be hard cause my dad isn't a materialistic person. He pretty much has what he wants already which isn't much.

Get the K1A1/K2 rifles. They are really nice, reliable, accurate, plus use AR mags. I have heard nothing but positive things about them. Plus they look sweet too! Plus as pre-ban guns they are still cheaper than most out there.
